JS Insights (JS INSIGHTS LTD) is an independent UK education and training company. It is led by people who have done the work themselves — qualifying as professionals, earning research degrees, and teaching at UK universities. That is the difference we want our learners to feel: guidance that is specific, structured and honest about what it can and cannot do.

Founder & Director · 创始人兼董事
Dr Jiajing Sun founded JS Insights and leads its teaching. She is a CFA charterholder and a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (FIMA). She holds a PhD from the University of Liverpool and was an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematics at the University of Birmingham. Her research and teaching focus on financial econometrics, time-series analysis, quantitative methods and risk modelling, with extensive applied work in R and Python and in China–UK academic and finance collaboration.
Jiajing Sun 博士创立了 JS Insights 并主导其教学。她是 CFA 持证人、英国数学及其应用学会会士（FIMA），拥有利物浦大学博士学位，曾任伯明翰大学数学学院副教授。她的研究与教学聚焦金融计量、时间序列分析、定量方法与风险建模，在 R 与 Python 的应用以及中英学术与金融合作方面有丰富经验。

Dr Michael Cole is a director of JS Insights and a Senior Lecturer in Organisation and Management at the University of Liverpool's School of Management, holding BSc, MSc, MPhil and PhD degrees. His academic and consultancy experience spans organisation and management, public administration, governance, UK devolution and public-sector consultancy, with research interests that include China and society, and a recognised commitment to teaching. He brings a governance and management perspective to how JS Insights is run.
Michael Cole 博士是 JS Insights 的董事，现任利物浦大学管理学院（School of Management）组织与管理专业高级讲师（Senior Lecturer），拥有学士、硕士、哲学硕士与博士学位。他在组织与管理、公共行政、治理研究、英国权力下放（devolution）以及公共部门咨询方面拥有长期的学术与实践经验，研究兴趣涉及中国与社会议题，并在教学方面获得认可。他为 JS Insights 的运营带来治理与管理方面的视角。

Dr Jiajing Sun co-submitted written evidence to the UK Parliament Energy Security and Net Zero Committee's Net zero and trade inquiry (NZT0001), published on 8 May 2024. The submission, with Dr Michael Cole, Dr Kailan Tian and Dr Weimin Jiang, reflects research and policy engagement in trade, carbon leakage, net-zero policy and carbon accounting.
